In 1991, Lily and Noshir Modi, a Vadodara-based couple, decided to share their love for good baked food with the city they called home. The duo forayed into the market and offered baked delicacies under the brand name Goodies. In a city where quality and taste are appreciated, Goodies’ cookies, cakes and pastries were an instant hit. Staying true to their passion for good food, the Modis won over the taste-buds of Vadodara with their delicious, high quality and wide range of baked goodies.
In 2001, the couple opened the first ever Goodies Café –which offered their best baked delicacies paired with a wide multi cuisine menu with a heavy Parsi influence in taste. In 2011, Kaizad Modi – the next generation joined the team and has tickled taste buds with his curated catering and pop-up food festivals which has given rise to a new experience to dining in Vadodara.
